Recent upgrade

I've had a smaller Jackery battery for a couple of years and when I saw the new Pro models I just had to upgrade. With this new 1000 Pro and the new solar panels we can make coffee in the morning and watch TV at night without the generator noise and air pollution. Hooking up the solar panels to charge my RV batteries as well as the Jackery 100 Pro will let us spend almost a week camping off the grid. It also came in handy last week when we had a 2 hour evening power outage at home. A couple of extension cords and some power strip and we were the only family on the block with lights, TV, and Internet. I'm saving up for their biggest solar battery to extend our camping trips even longer.

Charges fast

Charges fast, on AC, much slower with solar panels, and I have not yet tried charging from the truck. All in all this seems like a nice backup unit while traveling in our Airstream Trailer.

Love to camp

I bought this because I love to camp, but the reality is I can only get out a few times a year. Maybe less as a new father now! But I live in the US southwest where I spend thousands of dollars a year to counteract the affects of our sun exposure, and I do not own a traditional generator.. in the event of power outage or unforeseen circumstance, this would be an absolute lifeline for me and my young family. Its a camp toy that I splurged on with zero guilt! I should add, It works flawlessly. Everyone should own one!
