The 6-circuit, 30A manual transfer switch is designed for fast indoor installation in residential and commercial applications. It is completely pre-wired and enables the electrical system of the building to accept the power to run up to six single-pole circuits. The transfer switch is completely codes compliant and keeps the power from your battery isolated from the utility power at all times. The 16-inch flexible conduit whip attaches easily to a knockout on the AC load center. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in compliance with all applicable electrical codes.
This diagram shows the whole grid connection of the LYCAN but this transfer switch can be used with most battery backup systems.
